This book is the testimony of B.J. Garrett and is filled with feelings of heartfelt, heartbroken and God's love. What an inspirational story! B.J. doesn't hold back from telling her life story of how much she has gone through. This is a story of what people do go through and how we don't talk about the evil in our lives, the stuff that is our baggage, hidden deep within. In her story be prepared she doesn't sugar coat anything from sexual abuse, abortion, depression, feelings of lost to how she accepted God's grace and found hope and security with her faith and love for God.
I would recommend this read to adults if a teen is reading it, the parents may want to read before, due to the subject matter. This is a great book for those that have always felt that they can't step into a church or God will not love them for what they have done in their past. This book is proof, God loves us all and wants us to be with Him always. This is a quick read and B.J. does a great job of getting to the point and allowing the book to move on and not drag things out. Be warned...... once you start reading you will not be able to put it down.

She holds an associate of divinity degree from Baptist Missionary Theological Seminary, and she has served in church ministries as a youth director, singles director, missions director, and women’s ministry team leader.
