I Think You're Wrong (but I'm Listening) ~ Sarah Stewart & Beth Silvers

Sarah and Beth are on the opposite sides of each other in the political world.  They don't agree with each other on political issues but, listen to each others sides and choose to show grace and respect to each other.  They have a podcast called "Political Pantsuits" and talk about the issues in today's world and listen to each others views and points.  They wrote this book to teach all of us to listen and hear the sides of everyone's concerns and beliefs.  The only way to get results in today's world is to stop the hate, yelling, protesting and start listening and work with each other with grace.  Each chapter of the book is about one way to work with political view in today's society and talk with both sides to get results. At the end of each chapter are questions to keep the conversations going and to get results of respectful learning and listening.

I would recommend this book to everyone of every age to read this book.  It is about dealing with politics but you could take the points and ideas of this book to know how to deal with other difficult and uncomfortable situations.  This is a short read, but packed with so much information..... you will want to read this book and share with everyone.

Character Carved in Stone ~ Pat Williams with Jim Denney

This is a short read, but very big on contents.  In this book we learn about leadership from the teachings of 12 key point virtues taught at West Point Military Academy.  As each chapter covers one of the 12 virtues, it also gives us examples of leaders in history and how the virtues shape leaders and the character of our personal journey in life.  The stories are easy to read and very interesting of how they shaped our country.

I would recommend this to anyone that wants to be a great leader or improve on living a better life.  This is a book that anyone can read.  If you are interested in history, this will be a good read.  The explanation in each chapter also covers interesting information of West Point.  I would recommend this to anyone that wants to become a better person.

Secrets at Cedar Cabin ~ Colleen Coble

This one is book 3 in the Lavender Tides series and just as good as all of Colleen Coble books.  This story continues with Bailey Flemming trying to save her life and find out who is the murderer.   Bailey needs time away and chooses to move to a secluded cabin in Lavender Tides.  Here she befriends her neighbor, Lance and the suspense, drama and romance begins......

You won't be able to put this book down, as usual from Colleen's books.  I would recommend this to all Colleen fans and anyone that wants to have a great read that will keep you guessing until the end..... Love this book and any age can read it.  This is a page turned from beginning to end.
