This book covers the history of the land that Jesus walked and the area his people lived in. This is a book with history of maps, charts, timelines of the seasons and climate. Each chapter covers subjects that allows you to vision the bible more in a understanding way. The pages are very colorful and detailed, the illustrations cover information from the Ark's travels, Temple's, how the land was sectioned out, where the food source came from. It give detailed history to read and then a picture of the map to be able to bring in all in to a vision.
I was very impressed with this book, it covered so much that I just never imagined. I was amazed at the history and how it looked on the maps. The maps were so colorful and detailed that I couldn't stop looking and reading this book.... I keep picking it back up and just realizing the journey was in a small area where all our history begins. This book covers the whole area of the bible, it is a great reference book, it can be used for daily reading, bible study, teaching history and so much more..... the pages are on heavy stock paper to hold up for years and many page turns.
