This is book 3 of the Roughwater Ranch Cowboys series. Dana Mentink does a great job with writing this murder mystery. When 5 teenagers go into the towns tunnels (that they are told to stay out of) to explore one of them ends up dead. It ends up been a cold case as the suspects are found not guilty. Then a few years later when Fiona goes into looking for the murderer again, she ends up dead. Now 15 years later and Helen, being one of the 5 original friends, needs to deal with the grief and starts to investigate. Then we have Sergio the brother of the victim and he decides to take his anger of the death and look into what happend that night. Along with Helen and Sergio the drama and adventure begins. Through the hunting of clues, many mysterious things keep happening, could this be related to the two previous deaths??I would recommend this to anyone that wants a good drama, mystery, romance to read. It is a short read, but keeps moving with many twist and turns. I am a fan of Dana and this is the first mystery that I have read of hers. I was excited to read this because I loved her previous books Sit, Stay, Love and Paws for love.. great books about dogs.... also great reads. I was very pleased at how Dana can pull of the different types of books that she has written, very impressed. I also liked how she incorporated Jingles into this book. Great Read!! (I have not read the other books in the series and was able to read this as a stand alone.)
