This is book 22 of the Lockets and Lace books.  The story is about young love lost and found.  When  Samantha and Silas are kids they fall in love.  Then Samantha and her family move to California and contact is lost, she doesn't know or understand why? Silas has had tragedy strike in his life and was unable to contact Samantha, thinking about her all the time, but he is unable to contact her.  He knows she is in California so he sets out to find her and to put his mind at ease if she still loves him.  In the meantime, Samantha wonders what happens and should she move on?  Will they find each other again?  If they do make contact what will they find?

I would recommend this book to anyone that likes or loves a good love story... not matter if it is a happy ending or not.  I would put this on the list for a Hallmark movie as it is touching and has that little bit of you wanting them to be together.  I have never read any of the books before and was able to understand what was happening, so this can be a stand alone read.
