This is book 1 of the Waters of Time series, a Christian time travel read. Marian is a research scientist, along with her father also a scientist, are set out to find the cure for a genetic disease that her sister has. When her father drinks a vile of holy water containing residue from the tree of life (so he believes) the adventure begins. He is transformed back into time, leaving Marian to save him and bring him back. Marian goes back and forth from present to past to look for her father and bring him back... while in the past she meets William and finds that they have things in common, how can she tell him she is from the future and will not be staying in the past. Does Marian find her father? Will her heart be broken? Can she save her sister from illness?
I would recommend this to anyone that wants to go back into time and enjoys using your imagination. It is book one of the series and interested in reading book 2 as the time travel is fun to read.
