This is book 7 of the Independence Islands Series that takes place on Elenora Island.  When Tessa and Ross feel that something is missing in their marriage however, neither one can figure it out.  Both love to read and frequently go to the town book store and pick out books.  Tessa enjoys her books with out any romance and will not read a book that even hints at romance.  When an accident happens and changes things, how does it change the marriage?  Will it strength them or tear them apart?  How will Tessa feel if her dream of writing a book is shattered?

I found this story to be a bit too slow for me for until a third of the way through.  I stuck with it because I like books by Chautona.  It did pick up in the middle, however, the ending seemed clustered, too many stories and characters in the book, it took away from Tessa and Ross.  I did get confused when Tessa's book vs. Real Story, it kept going back and forth and took more concentration to keep it all straight.... Overall a good read if you don't need suspense, drama or a page turner.  

This review is of the audiobook, I am not a fan of the audio, however the book is good.
