This book is a Christian Contemporary Fiction read. This book is set in the era of the 1980's when things are changing. Michael is a guitarist that has just been kicked out of his band and has no place to go. Forced to now live with his Uncle, until he stand on his own two feet. He does the unthinkable, takes a New Year's Eve invitation addressed for his uncle and goes to the party. He is amazed that the hosts of the party is well known, rich and famous. Michael befriends their daughter and the friendship goes into more. As both Michael and Natalie find themselves looking into their future relationship and careers, could the past be a burden for both of them? What does all this mean for Michael? Will the famous family be able to find happiness with this new friendship with their daughter?
I would recommend this book to anyone that wants to read a book that is about friends, family, faith and being a better person. It was hard to put down as I wanted to know what happens to Michael and how he dealt with dealing with people. It is set in the 80's and 90's music scene, so if you are from that era, you will enjoy alot. It takes you back to that time when it seemed the music was changing the how the world saw the future.
