This is book 3 of the Shenandoah Valley Saga Series.  This is a historical read that takes place during the Civil War era.  Carrie is dealing with her husband on his death bed.  She decides to befriend Eli to help her get through this difficult time.  Will this become more than a friendship?  The twist of the story is when a nurse gets involved and wants to try a new medicine on Carries husband to see if he will survive.  What will happen to Carrie, are her feelings strong enough to keep faith that her husband is alive?  Where does this put Eli?

If you like historical reads, with a few twists in the story then you will enjoy this book.  It is book 3 of the series, however, can be read as a stand alone.  This was a good addition read to the series.

 About the Author

Andrea Boeshaar was born and raised in Wisconsin but now lives in South Carolina. She had her husband Daniel have been married more than 40 years.  They have 3 grown sons, 1 beautiful daughter-in-law, and 5 grandkids.

Andrea’s publishing career began in 1994 when her first novel was released by Heartsong Presents book club (Barbour Publishing). In 2007, Andrea earned her certification in Christian life coaching and she’ll soon earn her bachelor’s degree in Business Management.
