This book takes place in the 1770's and is about a stone, is it magical, is it powerful or is it nothing?  When Amity wants to find the stone and write about it, she goes on a journey find the stone.  Does she find the stone or does she find love? Simon has the stone, however no one knows and he might just use it for his advantage to find a wife.  Do these two find love, does the stone play apart?  

If you want a content afternoon read, with light romance, then take this book and read it.  It is a relaxing afternoon or evening read that you will find interesting and intriguing to find the real meaning of the stone.
