Lawson's Bluff ~ Jeff Barganier

 This book is a Suspense and Drama read, with twist and turns.  When Carla, journalist takes a trip to Alabama to cover a story about illegal  boar hunting.  What she finds there is more than she expects and along with a new friend Jack.  Jack has his own mission and soon finds he is involved with more than he bargained for.  Can Carla do the job she was supposed to do?  How does Carla and Jack come together?  Or maybe they can't see things the way each other do.

If you want a book that will have suspense and a few twist to keep your interest, then you will enjoy reading this book.  It is a little graphic at the beginning, but once you get past those pages, it is a good thriller of a read.

I didn’t “come up” with the idea for Lawson’s Bluff. The idea found me after I published a piece about a hunter in Georgia who hunts wild boars with dogs and a knife. Like character Jack Lawson, he never carries a gun, preferring, instead, to tackle the hog and slay it the old-fashioned way. So, as with previous novels, I didn’t write this one either. The story wrote me. I had no clue where the story was going until informed … by the story. This approach is what makes life interesting, I think. And what makes novels interesting, too—twisting action and romance in unpredictable settings.
