This book consist of Dorothy giving us stories of women from the new testament of the Bible. Each chapter consists of a bible verse, story from Dorothy, bible story that compares to Dorothy's example, explanation of comparing both Dorothy's and the biblical version, how to respond, reflection containing bible verses, exploration questions, inspiration question, lessons learned questions, and end with bible verse that pertains to the chapter.
This book is more of a bible study book than a story reading book. It has alot of information and is a heavy read to take all the information in and to retain the lessons, you need to read and reflect. You can read it from cover to cover, however, I think you will lose the full effect of the book. The best way to get the most out of this book would be to do in a group, with a friend or bible study.
