Book #2 of the "refined by love series" - I had a very hard time getting into this book. I am not a fan of books set in the 1870's, but was interested in the title and the description on the back cover. I found the story to be slow for my taste. I like books that are page turners and keep you wondering at all times with twists and turns. This book didn't do that for me. It was a slow and struggling read to keep my attention and interest. If you like pottery, romance and a story line that flows slowly and relaxing then this may be interesting for you.
I would recommend this book to a few of my friends that have an interest in slow romance and pottery settings and tend to read books set in the colonial times as this book has a lot of history of pottery, West Virginia and a good strong back ground in 1870's period. I would not recommend to my friends that love a fast pass, suspenseful drama and page turner book, this is not a book that does that.
