This is book 2 of the Amara Alvarez series. When detective Amara Alvarez now working in homicide at the San Antonio branch, she is assigned to find out who killed a teenager at a water park. When she doesn't have any leads she must come up with many ways to get people to talk, help her and find evidence on her own. She needs to work with Detective Starsky which adds humor and a fun side to read of the book, to prove that this was really a murder and not an accident. Can Amara solve her first case and prove this was a murder? Is there more to Amara and Starsky's relationship then just co-workers?
