This is book 2 of the Three Island Sisters series.  This is the second season on the island after a long winter and the sisters are continuing with their lives and the way of living on the island.  We continue with Maddie settled into counseling at her new office in the basement of the church, Cam is still working on setting a wedding date along with getting grants for electricity to the island and Blaine is dealing with her culinary school and next step of a cooking career.  In this book we are introduced to the new handsome pastor that comes to the island, Rick.  He and Maddie have a history and can they both forgive each other for the past?  What is up with Cam not able to set the date?  Will Blaine stay on the island or make a difficult choice to leave?

I love this series, one of my favorites in a long time.  When you read this book you get wrapped up in the characters and it moves along very well.  Just when you think you can figure it all out, it doesn't happen that way..... It is one of those books that you can't put down and hate to have it end.  When I started reading, I ended up reading it in bed because I had to see how it all worked out, my husband asked "are you going to read all night?"  I said "almost done, I only have a few more pages"  he replied "the book will be there in the morning" I reply "I know, but I need to know......"  that is how much this book wraps you in.   It is book 2 but can be read as a stand alone, even though you will want to read book 1 to get a little background and it will give you more background of the family and how they ended up on the island.... Can't wait for book 3!!
