The Dog that was There ~ Ron Marasco

Wow! Wow! Wow!  What a powerful and heart wrenching story!  The author tells the story of Jesus and his love for us through the eyes of a dog named Barley.  Barley tells his story of how he had a wonderful life with his owners, then he faces tragedy and finds new owners and then how he finds Jesus (the kind man).  The author does a wonderful job of being detailed and writing in a way that will tug at your heartstrings.  This book is one that you will start and won't put down until the end, the flow of the book keeps you reading from beginning to end.

I would recommend this book to teens and older. It is a great read and has true meaning.  It is a great book for anytime read, just be warned if you start reading you won't put it down until you finish, as the ending will keep you reading and will surprise all that read this.  The whole story is not predictable, each chapter is touching in it's own way.  If you are a dog lover as I am, you will definitely want to read this book.  Even if you are not a dog fan, you will be surprised and touched at how the author has done writing in this fashion.  I can't say enough about how wonderful and superb this book is!!  All should read this book!!!
