As book three in the Watervalley series, it is a very relaxing and old fashion read. I have not read book one or two and was able to pick this one up and read it, not feeling as I had missed anything. The book is about the character Luke Bradford, the town doctor and is relationship with Christine Chambers, the town school teacher. As we learn more about their story, you also learn about the towns people and how they all entwined together as a community.
I would recommend this book to those that enjoy a nice wholesome story for any ages. It is a good book to read during an afternoon of relaxing or an evening when you want to escape and just take your mind off of everyday life.
