This is the very basic story of how the wrestling champ Lex Luger became known to the wrestling world. Lex tells of his high school years, his goal of becoming a football star and then life taking a turn and he gets involved with wrestling. This is a short book and I found it to be very uneventful, quite boring for my reading. But I did force myself to read it to the end and managed to read it all.
The story is a Christian book, however the book does not mention GOD or faith until page 129 then it is only mentioned in one line, last paragraph of the chapter that his friend is a Christian. Then the next time GOD or faith is mentioned is at the very end on page 169 about how he reads from the Gideon Bible. The book is a total of 217 pages. I was wish faith had been made through the whole book, I think if the structure of the story being told, mixed with his faith and belief vs. his past would have made a much better story line.
I would not recommend this for my friends to read, as I had a very hard time getting through it.
