Every girl gets confused ~ Janice Thompson

This is book #2 of the Brides with Style series.   This book continues with Katie and Brady's relationship as a couple .  Katie is faced with having many decisions to make, along with a few other story lines in the book.  This book also brings us to know and enjoy more characters that will created a few other entertaining story lines that have an effect on Katie's decisions that she has to make.

I recommend this book as a very light, non thinking read for an afternoon that you just want to relax and read.  It was predicable and didn't have much suspense or twists and turns.  Just a fun story that can be made into the Saturday night Hallmark movie.

I was blind (dating) But now I See ~ Stephanie Rische

Stephanie shares with us how her dating life was one blind date after another and it seemed to be an endless situation of failure.  She tells us in each chapter about her date in a very funny and entertaining way.  As we read her stories, we also learn how she starts to grow and understands that God has a plan for all of us. She takes us on a journey that will teach you how to grow in your faith and know that God is walking beside you on this journey.

I would recommend this book to be read by all single women.  It would be great for a single's women's book  club.  This book is very easy to understand and an entertaining book to read.

Bronner ~ Sherri Burgess

Sherri and her family has a tragedy happen, her 2 year old son drowns in the family pool.  Why would GOD allow this to happen?  Sherri gives us her story in the way GOD's word tells us, by giving scripture and knowing that everything happens for GOD's purpose.    This book is a great book about understanding why bad things happen in life.  It gives the perspective to answer some of the questions that lead to anger and hate when you loose a loved one, all with the answers of GOD's word.

I recommend this for everyone to read!  It is a book that once you start reading you will not be able to put it down.  This is a book that will stay with you forever.  Words can not describe the love that this book has in it.  MUST READ!!

Fast Food Maniac ~ Jon Hein

This is a very fun and informative book to read.  Jon covers the history of fast food restaurants in 2 to 3 pages.  It is very easy to read and the format is easy to follow.  He reviews over 40 national restaurants and then cover over 25  regional restaurants.  He includes special chapters of the top 5 of his favorites, history on logos, tips on certain foods that are not on them menu but you may request them and many more interesting reads.

I would recommend this for anyone that loves fast food and wants to know more about the backgrounds of how it all began.  This is a very easy and fun read that can be done in one sitting or you can just thumb through it and read what you want.  This book is for all ages.

My Name Is Mahtob ~ Mahtob Mahmoody

Mahtob is the girl that back in 1977 was taken to Iran with her family, for what was supposed to be a 2 week vacation that ends up a living nightmare.  Her father would not let her mother or her come back to the United States and held them captive in Iran as his prisoners.  This is from the movie Not withouth my daughter, the mom did the movie back then and now the daughter tells her story in this book.  It shows that GOD's grace can get you through anything as long as you belive in HIS way.

This is a book that is a great read for anyone.  I would recommend this book for anyone to read, it is a true story that needs to be known to everyone.  Once you start to read this book, you will not be able to put it down.  It is a book that has faith from begining to the end.  A book that is very well written and you will want to discuss and recommend to all your friends.

Mermaid Moon ~ Colleen Coble

This is book 2 of the Sunset Cove series.  I did not read book 1, and I didn't have any problems to reading this book.  This is a great book filled with lots of drama, mystery and forgiveness.  The story takes place in a small town in downeast Maine.  Mallory is the main character who has to go back to her small hometown after finding out her father has died.  She goes back and starts to do research about her family and then starts a trail of many situations that just don't add up, leading her to beleive her father has been murdered.

I would recommend this book to any age and especially to those that enjoy an unpredictable read.  This was my first book read by Colleen Coble and it will not be my last.  She is a great writer that can give you many twist and turns and keep you guessing to the end.  This book is a page turner, when you start this you will not put it down until the end.  Great read and I plan to go back to read book 1 and then plan to read book 3.
