Same Kind of Different as Me ~ Ron Hall and Denver Moore

EVERYONE MUST READ THIS BOOK!!! I would not have picked this up in a bookstore or library … such a lesson to me…. Do not judge a book by it’s cover.. READ THIS BOOK !!

A man named Denver (black slave and homeless man), Ron (a white rich business man) and his wife Deborah (a very persistant women being very obedient to GOD). The couple starts to volunteer at a homeless shelter and becomes friends with Denver. When Deborah is struck by an awful situation the true meaning of GOD’s love comes shining through. The story is told by Denver and Ron in their own views and how their friendship is the true work of GOD. Deborah is very demanding that they stay friends as it is GOD’s plan.

This is a true story and the most amazing story I have ever read. It has love, pain, obedience, comfort, strength and GOD all wrapped up in this book. I could not put this book down and read it in two nights even though I wish I had stayed up and read it all in one night. I couldn’t wait to find out what was going to happen. It makes me want to tell everyone about this story of friendship and how it just makes you feel good.
